if you are into K-dramas, you might wonder where these places are located, I will list few sites that you can visit when you visit S.Korea.

1. My love from the Stars

* Petit France

1063 Hoban-ro, Gapyeong-Gun, Kyunggi-do (616-2 Gosung-Ri)

*  enter “Gosung-Ri 616” on Navigation. This place is also known for filming dramas such as Secret Garden. It's a bit far from city of Seoul and  located within a district of Gyeongi-do so if you are planning on a visit to Petit France, consider one-day trip buses that usually depart on Saturday from locations such as Seoul City hall.  Please search via Gmarket.com on travel section ( people usually pay 2-30 bucks for buses that goes directly to Petit France that is extremely cheap compare to other buses or train if you want to visit yourself so I highly recommend you consider these buses)

2. The Pirates (Movie), My love from the stars and more

 *KOFIC studio

Hundreds of Korean movies and dramas were filmed here and they have film sets such as fake replica of DMZ zone as you can see from the picture above. Inside the building, there's various rooms that you can explore and navigate the film set. The building itself isn't quite fancy However, immense size of storage area  brings unique experience for visitors as the storage is filled with all kinds of props used for films and drama production. Cons, The only downside of this studio is that its difficult to travel via public transportation  but you can still get here via subway by searching  un-gil-san station, there is also free shuttle bus that goes directly to the KOFIC studio from the subway station.

3. Secret Garden, Rooftop Prince and more

I really don't need to explain this place as I've seen this place like hundreds of times in TV dramas and all kinds of shows. From Hyehwa station, you can walk towards this place pretty easily. This district was often filmed as the main character's neighbourhood, where they dream of going into the big world
 I do recommend this place as this area has so much things to see in general. It's pretty close to Myeong-Dong too.

4. Cozy and Warm (mandorong-tottot) , Architecture 101 and more

*Jeju , Aewol-eup. Bomnal cafe

This recent drama "Cozy and Warm" was filmed in jeju island and you need to take a flight to get there from Kimmo airport (Not incheon)  However, the flight ticket to jeju from Seoul is relatively cheap these days, costing less than 100 dollars.
There's many guest houses to stay in Jeju as well :-) so you can save money if you ever want to visit Jeju island and visit these film locations.

* Cafe de Seoyeon
2937, Wimi-ri, Namwon-eup, Seogwipo, Jeju-do, South Korea

The film architecture 101 also deals with the main character born and raised in Jeju island. Remember the sad ending? you can actually visit her house which now runs as a Coffee Shop.

5. Coffee Prince, Love Forecast (film)

*Hong-dae, Seoul 337-2 Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu Seoul

Yes, it is Hong-Dae. In case you were unfamiliar with this district, I highland recommend you visit this area, theres tons of things to see. especially small shops and restaurants are all located within this area. (recently, "Yeon-Nam Dong"  , a neighbourhood next to Hong-Dae is also joining this "hot trend" joining all the excitement that Hong-Dae district brings. There's a local markets as well as small events happening around this area so you should definitely visit here) Anyways, for those who probably didn't know that coffee prince is located in Hong Dae district although Coffee prince is a bit difficult to find. I highly recommend searching via google map but you can definitely walk from Hong-ik University station.

These pretty walls from the movie "love forecast" is located in Hong-dae district as well. It is also hidden somewhere but if you look for "Picasso street" streets filled with beautifully painted art walls, you won't be disappointed

Hint. Find Codes Combine Store in Hong-Dae.

6.  The Thieves, Rooftop Price, Sunny and more

* Hapcheon Image Theme Park
 757 Hapcheonhosu-ro, Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea

It's akin to the studio that I previously mentioned in this post but this location has old architectures of old Seoul that you might have seen it in many Korean dramas as well as films. However, this theme park is really far from Seoul but the size of this theme park makes up for it. (It's closer to Busan) Its also noted from the official site that there is ghost town in the theme park so it adds more fun to your visit :-) well for me at least !

7. Pasta

Buona Sera, 650-1 Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea

you can still visit the restaurant from drama Pasta because this restaurant still exists. its close to Do-San Park in Gang-Nam. This restaurant is running by Chef Sam Kim from various cooking shows.
